What is an InBody Test?
… SEE WHAT YOU’RE MADE OF …
Did you ever think that you could go beyond just the number on a scale? To be able to see what you are made of, in terms of muscle, fat and water? Or just straight up, what percent body fat you are?
When you step on a scale, it’s just a number, with no context; without knowing which part is fat, and which part is muscle. For health and longevity reasons, we ideally want more muscle and less fat. So, for our health and fitness goals, it really is of the utmost importance to know.
The InBody Test allows us to take a non-invasive, and quick, peek into your body composition, with a fairly high degree of accuracy. The scan takes as little as 15 seconds, while unlocking a wealth of information regarding what you’re made of. We can tell what part of that number on the scale is fat, what part is muscle and what part is water. We can use these numbers to assess your health, while developing an actionable and trackable plan to create a better you. No more guessing or going blindly into the night. With repeated scans, you can know if your changes to health, wellness and fitness are having a positive or negative effect.
The Inbody Test is considered to be within 98% accuracy when compared to Dexa scans, while being portable and very quick. InBody does not rely on empirical estimations based on age, gender, or ethnicity to predict results. It removes population-associated assumptions when determining body composition to ensure results are based solely on the individual, increasing sensitivity to the individual’s unique makeup of muscle and fat, enabling effective tracking of changes. It uses accurate, precise, direct segmental measurement multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis (DSM-MFBIA), to measure water, muscle mass and fat mass in the five body segments: right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg and trunk.

InBody directly measures the entire body
Direct segmental measurement bioelectrical impedance analysis regards the human body as five cylinders: left arm, right arm, torso, left leg, and right leg. InBody independently measures each cylinder to provide accurate measurements for the entire body.

INBODY ANALYZES THE BODY AS FIVE CYLINDERS (SEGMENTS)
If you are the least bit serious about your health, wellness, and longevity, knowing what your body fat percentage and body composition is, should be of paramount importance. There are no excuses, contact us on how to best assess your health and wellbeing.
